J.C. Wilson

J.C. Wilson, age 81, of the Beech Grove community in Lake City, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1929 in Anderson County, Tn., to the late James Calvin and Lizzie Lee Bryant Wilson. He was a Private 1st Class US Marine Veteran having received an expert rifleman award. He enjoyed shooting guns, bird watching, movies, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church, and a member of Coal Creek Lodge F.& AM # 492. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wilson, grand daughter, Misty Stidham, brothers, Hugh Wilson, Carl Wilson, & Robert Wilson, and his sisters, Ethel Helton, Edith Beach, and Georgia Wilson.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral: 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating.
Friends and family will meet at 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession for an 11:00 AM burial at Beech Grove Cemetery with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard
