James Edward Housley Sr., age 82 of Briceville, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. James was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church. James enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. James is preceded in death by his parents: William and Flora McGhee Housley, wife Lucille McMahan Housley, grandson Michael Housley.brothers: Franklin, William Clay, Horace C., Buford, and Carl Housley.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Tackett officiating.
Interment: To follow funeral service at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge, TN with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
