James Robert Cox, age 87, of Caryville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 25, 1926 to the late Berry and Anna Mae Wallace Cox. He was a Mason, and a WWII Army Veteran. James enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. James is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy Cox who passed away 6 days prior to his passing, his son, James Ricky Cox, brothers, Paul Ray and Fred Cox, sisters, Edna Cox Turnbilll and Barbara Cox Lowe.
