James David "Arnold" Brown, age 69, of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. James was born on May 17, 1944 in Campbell County, Tennessee, to the late Virgil M. and Josephine Jobe Brown. James a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed farming, gardening, animals, especially his horse, Darby. He was also a master wood craftsman. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his brothers, McKinley and Arvil Brown, and his special friend, LeRoy Summers.

Visitation: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Saylors and Rev. Johnny Raines officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at 11:00 AM Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for James's interment with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
