It is with great sadness that the family of Howard Keith Daugherty announce his passing. Keith, a kind and gentle soul, age 56, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1968, in Clinton to Richard Douglas Daugherty and Donna F. Stocks Daugherty. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Walden View Baptist Church. Keith was a wonderful son and an amazing brother. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, fishing, had a talent to fix anything, and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Most of all, Keith was ready to help anyone else before himself.

He is preceded in death by his father Richard Douglas Daugherty. Keith is survived by:

Houston Daugherty and wife Tanya

Sister Tina Daugherty Owens and husband Steve

He will also be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Visitation: 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City.

Funeral service: 8:00PM, Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City with Bro. Jimmy Ault officiating.

Interment: Family and friends will meet at 10:15AM, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel at 10:15AM, to go in procession to Dutch Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.
