Hazel Leola (Hammons) Houck

Hazel Leola Houck, age 82 of Lake City, went home suddenly to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 19, 1930 in Anderson County to the late Millard and Dovey Pratt Hammons. Hazel was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, feeding people, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Husband, Clarence "Pete" Houck; Grandson, Ryan Lee Houck; three brothers and five sisters.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Lane officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for the 11:00 AM interment.
