Glnnth Carden

Glnnth "Preach" Carden, age 74, of Powell, passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1935 in Lake City, TN. to the late Zelmer and Della Thompson Carden. "Preach" was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church. He enjoyed four-wheeling, gardening, woodmaking, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Darrell Carden, brothers, Zelmer Carden Jr., and Leonard Carden, and sisters, Louise Harless, Reba Daniels, and Betty Carden.

Funeral: 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.
Friends and family will meet at 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession for an 11:00 AM burial at Oak Grove Cemetery
