Glen Vowell

Glendene "Glen" Vowell age 76, of Lake City, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at his residence. Glen was born March 3, 1934 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late Lawrence and Minnie Fraker Vowell. He was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with his wife. Glen also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Dorothy Elaine Vowell, his brothers, Audrey and George Vowell, twin sister, Geraldine Prater, and sister, Anna Mary Evans.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Hatmaker Funeral Home
Funeral: 2:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Pine Hill Baptist Church, 705 Beech Grove Lane, Lake City, TN 37769 with Rev. Lynn Mowery officiating. Glen will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment: To follow the funeral service at the Pine Hill Church Cemetery in Lake City with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
