Giltz Elbert White, age 90 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Golden Living Center Windwood in Clinton. He was born September 11, 1921 in Anderson County to the late Ervin and Susie Duncan White. Giltz was a WWII Army veteran who fought in the Battle of the Buldge, and received two Bronze Star medals, and a purple heart medal. He was also a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. He loved gardening, traveling, and spending time with family. In addition to his parents, Giltz is preceded in death by: sisters: Fleda Phillips and Bobbie Lee Rainey, his brother: Ovas White, niece: Nona Rainey, and his nephew, David White.

Visitation : 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 7:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge and Rev. Larry Webster officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home at 9:15 AM on Monday, January 23, 2012 to go in procession to Pleasant Hill Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment.
