George G. Saltzman, age 91 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born on March 6, 1922 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia to the late Harry and Ellen Legge Saltzman. George enjoyed playing the harmonica at the Senior Citizens Centers, Museum of Appalachia, Norris Community Center, and Rickard Ridge of Caryville. He also enjoyed wood working. In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his brother Melvin Saltzman.

Visitation: 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Graveside Service: Family and Friends will gather at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville for a 1:30 pm interment with Military Honors provided.
