George J. Lester

George J. Lester, age 89 of Caryville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born on August 2, 1927 to the late Sam Henry Lester and Marjorie Housley in Anderson County, Tennessee. George served in the United States Air Force during World War II. George attended Lake City Christian Fellowship. He enjoyed gardening, baseball games, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his brother, Sammy H. Lester, and his sisters, Beatrice Miller and Mary Burris.

Graveside Service: Family and Friends will meet at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for George's graveside service with military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
