Fred William Cornett

Fred William Cornett, age 83, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on September 14, 2024 at his residence. He was born on September 15, 1940 to the late Everette W Cornett and Ruth Wilson.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He was a PROUD ARMY VETERAN Paratrooper, he loved driving his hot rod, loved watching the deer on his trail cam, riding atvs, operating his backhoe equipment, and hanging out with his friends and his family. Fred is precede in death by his parents Everette W. And Ruth Wilson Cornett, Wife Wanda Sue Cornett, and Daughter Linda Burke. He is survived by:

Visitation: 5:00PM - 8:00PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City.

Interment: Family and friends will meet at 11:15AM on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City to go in procession to the Mountain View Cemetery in Lake City for a 12:00Noon burial with Military Honors presented by the Honor Guard of Campbell County and the Tennessee National Guard.
