Elsie Jackie (Berry) Clowers

Elsie Jackie Clowers, age 89 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Summit View Health Care Center of Lake City. She was born May 9, 1923 in Roane County to the late Arthur and Molly Warick Berry. She was a member of the Fratersville Baptist Church. Elsie enjoyed being around her grandkids and she also enjoyed flowers. In addition to her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Clowers, her daughters, Ollie Jean Duncan, Jerry Pyles, Mildred Manley, and Pat Martin, her son: R.C. Clowers, and several brothers and sisters.

Son Hugh L. Clowers and Wife Shirley Lake City

Daughter Shelby Wilson Cleveland, OH

Son-in-Law Kenneth Duncan Lake City

33 Grandchildren

Many Great and Great Great Grandchildren.

Several other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Sweat and Rev. Danny Orick officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. for Elsie's interment.
