Edna Beach Duncan, age 94, of Lake City, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her residence. Edna was born on October 21, 1916 in Anderson County, TN to the late William Henry and Rosie Jane Foust Beach. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. Edna worked for 30 years at the Lake City Hospital. She spent her life caring for children, especially Susan Mayes, even though she did not have any of her own. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ike Duncan, sister, Bonnie Beach, brothers, Kelly, Vester, Audrey, Lonnie, her twin Earl Beach, and her niece, Susan Mayes.

Interment: Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM Monday, May 7, 2011 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to the Disney Cemetery for the 10:00 AM Interment.
