Dorothy Sue Hembree, age 78 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Sue was born on April 14, 1937 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Lillie Foust McCoy. She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church in Lake City. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country and gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by: husband, William "Bill" Hembree, grandson: Scotty Settles, and brothers and sisters: Bud McCoy, Ethel Carden, Gladys Tucker, Dean Hawkins, Joe McCoy, and Tommy Lee McCoy.

Survivors Include:

Daughter Barbara Settles and husband Ronnie Caryville

Sons Ronnie Hembree and wife Pam Morristown
Charles Hembree and wife Laury Knoxville
Roger Hembree and wife Angie Lake City
Michael Hembree Caryville
Tommy Hembree Caryville

Adopted Children Tony, Misty and Michelle

7 Grandchildren
6 Great Grandchildren

Several Nieces, Nephews, and a host of other cherished, and dear relatives and friends.

Visitation: 5:00 PM -7:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Clinch River Cemetery in Lake City for the graveside service.
