Doris Jean Robertson age 69, of LaFollette, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Doris was born in Campbell County, Tennessee on December 1, 1944 to the late Arthur and Lena Massengill Ward. She was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church in Lake City. Doris was the 2014 FCE woman of the year. She enjoyed crafts, making baskets and quilts, and serving her community. Doris was a member of the L.A. Cruizers, and she loved spending time with her family and friends, whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by brothers: Ernest, Everett, Arthur Jr., and Charles Ward; and sisters: Louise Lay, and Thelma Brock.

Celebration of Life Service: 6:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge and Rev. Jason Brackin officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at Campbell Memorial Gardens in LaFollette, Tennessee on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM for graveside services.
