Dora (Cox) Hatmaker

Dora Cox Hatmaker, age 94 of Lake City, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 13, 2013. Dora was born on March 6, 1919 to the late Richard and Sara Allen Cox in Campbell County, Tennessee. Dora and her husband, Leon, owned and operated Lake City Grocery for over 30 years. She was a member of Longfield Baptist Church. Dora loved bowling, cooking, and especially her church. In addition to her parents, Dora is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Hatmaker, brother, Emmett Cox, and son-in-law, Chester Tackett.

Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Longfield Baptist Church in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Longfield Baptist Church with Rev. Mac Smith and Brother Jack Hill officiating.
Interment: 12:30 pm Friday, May 17, 2013 at Cumberland View Cemetery in Jacksboro.
