Donnie Wayne "Dip Stick" Violet

Donnie Wayne "Dip Stick" Violet, age 62, of Lake City passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Donnie was born on July 5, 1952 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Robert L. and Melda Marie Whitaker Violet. He was a member of the Island Ford Baptist Church of Lake City. He also enjoyed fishing, building bird houses and feeders, wood working, CB Radio, and loved his animals. In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by: brothers, Roy Lee, and Bobby Violet, and sister, Dorothy Violet.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating.
Family and Friends will meet on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Island Ford Cemetery in Lake City at 11:00 AM for graveside services.
