Della Mae Vowell Daugherty

Della Mae Vowell Daugherty, age 79, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Della was born in Briceville, Tennessee on February 1, 1936 to the late William Henry and Texie Mae Jarmon Vowell. Della was a member of Briceville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, volunteering, helping people, and especially cooking for people. In addition to her parents, Della is preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Roy Daugherty, sister: Mary Lou Grant, and brother: Billy Ray Vowell.

Visitation: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1:15 PM to go in procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery for a 2:00 PM graveside service.
