David Levi Hawkins, age 60 of Lake City, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at his residence. David was born on May 23, 1951 in Anderson County to Leroy and Leopal Marlow Hawkins. He was an Army veteran and was also a member of Faith Primitive Baptist Church of Harriman. He enjoyed ginsenging, playing the guitar, gardening, and flowers. David is preceded in death by his mother, Leopal Hawkins, and his two sisters, Patricia Sandefur, and Betty Lou Hawkins.

Funeral Service: 8:00 pm, Thursday April 26, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Hawkins and Rev. Glen Marlow officiating.

Interment: Friends and Family will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:00 am to go in procession to the Swag Cemetery for David's 11:00 am interment.
