Darlene "Punci" Scarbrough Fateley, age 83 of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born September 24, 1937 and raised in Briceville, Tennessee to the late Jack and Lilian Bolton Scarbrough. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Briceville. She loved her daughter, son, and two grandsons with all her heart. She was an avid fan of Tennessee VOLS, Peyton Manning, and the Lady Vols. She loved to fish and take trips to Harrah's. Punci was a devoted wife of 45 years to her late husband, Shelby Fateley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Fateley, brothers Ralph and Jackie Scarbrough, Sister Mildred (Sug) Jones and husband Fred (Midge) Jones, daughter Sandra Gail Fateley, brothers in law Jay Fateley and Jim White, and son in law Daryl Clowers.

Punci leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Seiber officiating.

Family and Friends will meet on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, Tennessee for the graveside service.
