Clinton Clay Ward, better known as Clay, age 71 of Clinton, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born on May 20, 1941 to the late Haskell and Elizabeth Braden Ward. Clay was a member of the Shultz Hollow Baptist Church. He enjoyed four-wheeling, playing bingo, and spending time with his kids, and his grandkids. In addition to his parents, Clay is preceded in death by his brothers: Earnest and Virgil Ward, and his sisters: Bertha Jones, and Alice Fugate.

Visitation: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held following the visitation on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Browns Flat Cemetery in Briceville with Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow and Rev. Hubert Marlow officiating.
