Clay Aslinger

Clay Aslinger, age 74 of Lake City, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Erwin Health Care Center. Clay was born December 11, 1938 in Briceville, Tennessee to the late Isaac and Myrtle Pierce Aslinger. Clay traveled the world as a Merchant Marine. He also attended Shultz Hollow Baptist Church. Clay also enjoyed going to gospel singings and traveling. In addition to his parents, Clay is preceded in death by: his sisters, Ruth Gibson, and Clara Phillips, and his brother, Charles Aslinger.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Lake City for Clay's interment..
