Claude Winfred Loope, age71 of Briceville, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Claude was born on July 8, 1942 in Knox County, Tennessee to the late Clayton and Nellie Arnwin Loope He was a member of Walden View Baptist Church. Claude enjoyed ginsenging, gardening, working, fishing with his granddaughters, and especially loved spending time with his beloved family and friends. In addition to his parents, Claude is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Stocks Loope, and his brothers, Don, Junior, and Earl Loope.

Visitation: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2014 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Laurel Grove Baptist Church in Briceville with Rev. Kenny Sharp officiating.
Interment will follow funeral service at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Briceville.
