Cierra Savannah Brinkman-Harmon

Cierra Savannah Harmon, age 62, Rocky Top, Tennessee.
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She passed away in Tennova Lafollette hospital on October 24, 2018 at 3:00 a.m. She had fought a very long and arduous battle with cancer, and pneumonia, but she went in peace, knowing she was very much loved, cherished, and appreciated, to be with her Lord and Savior.

Cierra was a loving mother of two, London Vanessa Yerta-Szejbach (Adam), the eldest, and Monet Olivia Brinkman, the youngest. Her parents, William Walter Harmon, and Violet Marie Harmon survived her. Her two brothers, Michael Harmon (Angela) and Archer Harmon (Robert Rowe), are also surviving relatives. Several cousins, aunts, and friends have expressed their gratitude of knowing Cierra in her life, and are greatly saddened by her passing.

Cierra was well educated, with an associate’s and bachelor’s degree. She lived most of her working life as a lighting and electrical designer, and most importantly to her, a freelance artist. She sold her artwork all over the world. Some of her work included traditional paintings, as well as her famous ‘horror movie’ ventriloquist dummies. She was exceptionally proud of them, especially the life-sized werewolf she created for a performing artist in California.

She held a deep love of knowledge and the arts. She collected antiques and painted on anything she could get her hands on. Her greatest inspirations were her family, God, and Nikola Tesla, whom she adored reading about and his inventions. Her favorite color being orange, she loved to balance it out in her life with a deep navy blue. Her paintings often reflected this. She also had a deep love of culture, food, and travel, though she never left the United States, she always wished to visit places such as Ireland and the UK.

In lieu of a memorial service, she instead asked those who knew her in life to remember her as such. To celebrate her beautiful life and witty personality and sharp intellect. She wanted to be remembered for the person she was in life, and not how ill she may have been in her last days. She has asked that if one wanted to, a small brass plaque may be put on her urn.

She will be cremated, and her ashes will remain with her brother, Archer Harmon, until her youngest daughter, Monet Brinkman, can retrieve the ashes once she has a more permanent place to reside.

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”

― David Ellsworth from The Serenity of Selfism

“My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.”

― Nikola Tesla
