Charles George Wilson

Charles G. Wilson, age 88 of Caryville, Tn (Ridgewood Community) passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church, a WWII Navy Veteran, retired from Y-12 in Oak Ridge and member of Campbell County Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Brantley Wilson; parents, George and Ivory Wilson.

He is survived by his son, Lindell Wilson & wife Charlotte of Caryville; granddaughter, Vanessa Wilson of Caryville; sisters, Nona Burress and Geraldine Duvall, both of Lake City; several nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on from 6-8pm on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00PM in the chapel with Rev. Charles Harness & Rev. Randy Norton officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
