Rev. Charles Benjamin Dabney, age 89 of Lake City, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his residence. Charles was born June 20, 1923 in Coal Creek, Tn to the late Otis and Marie Harris Dabney. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Charles was a member of the West Side Baptist Church in Sandusky, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Mildred Amos Dabney; brothers, Junior, Jack, Lowell, and George Dabney; and his sister, Margaret Dabney.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jack Hill and Rev. Kenny Raines officiating.
