Carl Walden age 87 of Lake City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Summit View of Lake City. He was born January 18, 1926 in Jellico, TN to the late Walter and Nannie Douglas Walden. Carl was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church, where he was ordained as a deacon in 1961. Carl had 41 years of service with the White Food Stores. He enjoyed coon hunting, listening to gospel music, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, brothers; William and Paul Walden, sisters; Mildred Pumphrey and Della Mae Layman.

Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 pm on Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Harness and Rev. David Walker officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at Island Ford Cemetery on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 for 11:00 am interment.
