Calvin Lee Daugherty

Calvin Lee Daugherty, age 60 of New River, TN passed away suddenly while cutting trees on Friday, May 3, 2013. He was born September 9, 1952 in Stainsville, TN. Calvin was a Baptist. He worked in the coal mines in his earlier years and then as a timber cutter for the rest of his life. Calvin enjoyed fishing, hunting, ginsening, working on fast cars, playing music on the guitar and spending time with his family, especially his Grand Babies. He is preceded in death by his father, Rufus Daugherty, brothers, Wayne, David and Jonas Daugherty and sister, Monie Bean.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Bean, Jr. officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at Calvin's mother's house at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2013 for the Graveside Service. Calvin will be buried at the Emily Patterson Cemetery in New River, TN following the Graveside Service.
