Brittany Lauren Yancey

Brittany Lauren Yancey, age 31, of Rocky Top, Tennessee, passed away on January 4, 2021 at the North Knox Medical Center in Powell. Brittany was born May 10, 1989 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Robert Scott Yancey Jr and Nancy Diana Planos Yancey. She was a courtesy clerk for Food City and enjoyed being helpful to anyone she could. Brittany was a non-denominational Christian who loved Jesus with her whole heart and shared him with anyone she could. She loved music and especially loved dancing with her headphones in while listening to it. She enjoyed coloring in adult coloring books and loved crafting potholders and giving them out at work or to anyone she thought would enjoy one. Brittany is preceded in death by her father, Robert Scott Yancey Jr., her uncle, Brook Yancey, grandfather, Robert Scott Yancey Sr., and her great grandparents Antonio Planos, Rosa Planos,  Ellen Melton, Marvin Melton, and Margie Dale Greer.
