Bobbie Jean Chase

Bobbie Jean Chase, age 80 of Lake City passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell. She was born on October 17, 1932 in Anderson County, TN to the late Clayton Oscar and Locie Jane Strong Sams .She was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, sewing, playing cards, and reading her bible. In addition to her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Chase, brother, James Clayton "Buddy" Sams, and her sister, Edith Joyce Hedgecoth.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Harness officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to the Leach Cemetery in Lake City for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
