Bobbie Jean Balsley was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Bobbie was a friend to all who met her. Her sense of humor made everyone around her at ease. She worked for Clinch River Home Health for 20 years, and was a ray of sunshine to all her patients. Bobbie enjoyed quilting and making people laugh. Bobbie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Marty. She and Marty traveled the world together due to Marty's service in the Air Force. Also left to grieve her passing are:

Bobbie had 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Norris, TN with Father Bill Gahagan officiating.
Bobbie's interment will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, September 22, at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
