Billie "Bill" Tackett

Billie "Bill" Tackett, age 83, of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at his residence. Bill was born on January 11, 1932 in Lake City, Tennessee to the late Boss and Retha Duncan Tackett. Bill pastored several churches over the years. He cherished all of the moments spent with his family. Bill enjoyed camping, cooking, hunting for ginseng, anything outdoors, whittling, and gardening. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by: son: Roger Tackett, daughter: Deborah Ann LaFevers, brothers: Virgil, Floyd, and Charlie Tackett, and sister: Marie Lindsay.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ault and Rev. Don Good officiating.
Family and Friends will meet on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Sunset Cemetery in Clinton at 11:00 AM for Bill's graveside service with Military Honors to be presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
