Billie Louise (Johnson) George

Billie Louise Johnson George, age 79 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born February 13, 1933 in Cordova, Alabama to the late William and Bedie Bridgeman Johnson. Billie was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church. She loved her church and being a member of the prayer line. Billie enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, cooking, quilting, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie George, brothers, Charles Bridgeman and Leroy Johnson.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Sweat and Rev. Danny Orick officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Leach Cemetery in Lake City.
