Betty Marie Hayes

Betty Marie Hayes, age 74, of Lake City, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on August 25th, 2019. Marie, as everyone knew her, was born in Lake City, Tennessee on April 13, 1945 to the late Hubert and Rosetta Sexton. A former Detroit public school teacher, Marie excelled at being a loving Homemaker and raising four children. Marie was a strong follower of Christ with special love to her church family at Evangelist Baptist in Melvindale, MI. In addition to her parents Marie is preceded in by her Husband David, Brothers: Hubert Junior and Henry, Sisters: Wilma and Mary.

There will be a private ceremony held at Leach Cemetery, in Lake City, Tennessee on Wednesday, August 28th at 1:00 PM.
