Betty Lou Jones, 68, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, at home.
She was born January 6, 1944, in Anderson County, TN, to parents Sooner and Eva Jones. She grew up in the Clinton area and was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Byron Harrod and father, Sooner Jones.
She is survived by: mother, Eva Jones,of Clinton, daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Gary Burchfield of Knoxville; stepchildren, Harold Harrod,(April), Tampa, FL; Dennis Harrod,(Becky), McConnelsville, OH; Mike Harrod,(Denise), McDonough, GA; Linda Spears,(Jackie), Mansfield, GA; brothers, Tony Jones,(Dorothy), Fayetteville, GA; Conrad Jones,(Betty Jo), Clinton; Mike Jones, Kingston; sister, Susie Justice,(Ronnie), Auburn, AL; grandchildren, Logan and Jackson Burchfield of Knoxville; 10 step-grandchildren; 6 great step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Carl Smith, Clinton.
A Memorial Service will be held at Poplar Creek Baptist Church in Marlow, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 4 PM. 490 Marlow Circle-Clinton, TN 37716
