Bertie Wilson

Our queen, Bertie Louise Wilson, age 73, of Knoxville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 9, 2015 after a quick battle with leukemia. Bertie was born on October 10, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Lester Eugene and Lula Mae McDaniels Pruitt. In addition to her parents, Bertie is preceded in death by her daughter: Sandra Shubert Ivey, and son: Danny Eugene Garrett.

She leaves behind her pride and joy:

Daughter Shelby Shubert Butler and Gary Knoxville
Son Jason Shubert and Rachel Luke Knoxville

Grandchildren Daniel, Todd, Christopher, Whitney, Alexia, Jesse

Several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.


Family and friends will meet at 11:00 am at the Pleasant Forest Cemetery in Knoxville on Saturday, September 12, 2015 for Bertie's interment.
