Bertha Lee Patterson Taylor, age 87 of Lake City, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at her residence. Bertha was born in Stainville, Tennessee on April 14, 1927 to the late Tommy and Della Jones Patterson. She was a 72 plus year member of Laurel Branch Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, flowers, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Bertha is preceded in death by: husband, Claude Taylor, and three of her brothers: Kenneth, J.C., and Tommy Lee Patterson.

Visitation: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, November 21, 2014 at Laurel Branch Baptist Church in Briceville.
Funeral Service: 8:00 PM Friday, November 21, 2014 at Laurel Branch Baptist Church in Briceville with Rev. Joey Cagley, Rev. J.J. Patterson, and Rev. Danny Ray Phillips officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:15 AM to go in procession to the Norris Memorial Gardens in Norris, Tennessee for 11:00 AM graveside services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Laurel Branch Baptist Church Building Fund, 416 Creek St., Lake City, TN 37769.
