Beatrice Phillips

Beatrice Phillips, age 80 of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was born in Stainville, Tennessee on February 10, 1935 to the late Tommy and Della Jones Patterson. She was a lifelong member of Laurel Branch Baptist Church in Briceville. Beatrice loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Tennessee Vols Football fan. In addition to her parents, Beatrice is preceded in death by: husband: Rev. Edwin Phillips; brothers: Kenneth, J.C., and Tommy Lee Patterson; and sister: Bertha Taylor.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Laurel Branch Baptist Church in Briceville with Rev. Joey Cagley, Rev. Danny Ray Phillips, and Rev. J.J. Patterson officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 9:15 AM to go in procession to the Leach Cemetery in Lake City for a 10:00 AM graveside service.
