Rev. Banard Elmer Tindell, age 77 of Lake City, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the North Knoxville Medical Center. He was born October 26, 1934 in Anderson, TN to the late Courtland and Della Phillips Tindell. Banard was a member of the Church of God Mountain Assembly in Lake City. He loved building things, working with fine wood, the mountains and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Banard is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy and Jimmy Tindell and sisters, Mable " Vickey" Pyle and Lossie Wagers.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Tindell, Rev. Clyde Hooks and Rev. Adrian Tindell Officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at 1:30 PM at the Hatmaker Funeral Home on Thursday, March 8, 2012 to go in procession for a 2:00 PM burial at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City.
