Anna Belle Wells Shelton Melton

Anna Belle Wells Shelton Melton, 88, of Rocky Top, passed away September 11th, 2024. She was a member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly, Dalton, GA, Claxton Branch. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter James Wells and Etta Loucinda Vowell Wells of Briceville, her husband, John Henry Shelton, of Rocky Top, and her brothers and sisters, Viola Wells Shelton of Knoxville, Van Troy Wells of Lake City, William A. Wells of Lake City, Mary Ruth Wells Perry of Oak Ridge, Walter F. Wells of Lake City, Eugene E. Wells of Clinton, and Kitty Ruth Wells Payne of Michigan, her daughters, Constance Shelton Applegate of Lake City, Candice Shelton Mullins of Lake City, and Carliea Shelton Mize of Sevierville, and great grandson, Ezra Zayne Winn of Rocky Top. She is survived by her daughters, Chanderene Shelton Kitzmiller of Rocky Top, and Charisma Shelton Mahan (Stephen) of Oak Ridge, her granddaughters, Sara Olivia Winn (Micheal), and Jonni Rayvn Smelcer of Rocky Top, her grandsons, Joshua Bayker Mahan and Jaxon Taylor Mahan of Oak Ridge, her great grandsons, Jaylen Shawn Shelton, Micah Henry Chance Winn, and Jasper Storm Winn of Rocky Top. 

Graveside services will be held on September 14th, 2024 at Clinch River Cemetery in Rocky Top, Tennessee with Brother Charlie Emert and Brother Brandon Cookston as officiants.
