Anna Mae Elliott

Anna Mae Elliott, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, at the age of 82 after battling kidney failure.  Anna was born on March 25th, 1942, to Florence and Millie Foust. Anna was a graduate of Lake City High School where she had many friends. Many know Anna from her 30+ years as the head cook of the Waters of Clinton. There she shared her passion for food and cooking with the staff and seniors that she cared so much about. During her time there touched others through her compassion and wonderful cooking. She was a mentor to many, teaching them to love others through the food she prepared.  Anna's greatest love was for her family. Caring for them was her life's purpose and she loved them very much. Anna is proceeded in death by her parents Florence and Millie Foust, her Husband Morgan Elliott and her beloved daughter Susie Elliott.  She leaves behind a large family, whom she loved well.

Great Grandchildren  Isaac, Morgan, and Drake and step  grandchildren Dannah, Madison and Raelynn. 

She also leaves behind her special friend and personal chef Caleb Browing as well as her favorite coffee drinking buddy Teddy Browning.

Visitation: 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Bennett officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held following the funeral service at the Red Hill Cemetery in Andersonville, Tennessee.
