Anna Mae (Mounce) Dodson

Anna Mae Dodson, age 78 of Lake City, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Anna Mae was born in Anderson County on March 5, 1935 to the late George W. and Dora Jones Mounce. She was a member of Swag Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church and singing with her children before her health declined. She loved listening to gospel music, reading, and flowers. In addition to her parents, Anna Mae is preceded in death by: her husband, Luther Dodson, grandchildren, Billy Dodson and Jeff Brewington, brothers: Frank, Joe, Andrew, and Allen Mounce, and her sisters: Irene Mounce, Betty Phillips, Dorothy Murray, and Cora Sutton.

Funeral Service: 3:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Nolan officiating.
Interment: To follow funeral service on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Beech Grove Cemetery in Lake City.
