Alma Violet

Alma Vaughn Violet, age 92 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Summit View of Lake City. She was born April 25, 1920 in Anderson County to the late Marcus and Apalona Cole Turnbill. Alma was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Violet, her son, James Violet, her brothers, Avery Turnbill and Edward Turnbill, and her sisters Esther Viles and Pearl Rohshelle.

Visitation: 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held following Alma's visitation at 2:30 p.m. on Friday August 17, 2012 at the Norris Memorial Gardens.
