Aidern Don Parks, age 74 of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born July 12, 1937 in Lake City to the late James Columbus and Ruby Lay Parks. Don was a 20 year Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. He was also a member of the Byram's Fork Baptist Church in Andersonville. He loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors, farming, and gardening. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sister, Sue Parks Foust.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 22, 2012 to go in procession to Leach Cemetery for a 2:30 PM burial with military honors by Campbell County Honor Guard.
