Ada L. (White) Workman

Ada L. White Workman, age 81 of Lake City, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Ada was born July 10, 1931 in Anderson County to the late Jesse and Ella Brown White. She was a member of Laurel Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, embroidering, bowling, playing bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Ada is preceded in death by: her husband, Granford Workman, her son, Glen Workman, her grandchildren: Darrell Granford Workman, and Lora Banghart, her great grandson, Matthew Wilson Wakefield, her brothers: Noah, Jesse, and Lawrence White, and her sisters: Bobbie and Linda White.

Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Houston Carroll officiating.
Interment: Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Browns Flat Cemetery in Briceville.
